      Mmmmmm....it's a heart attack waiting to happen.  Bacon wrapped meaty goodness stuffed with a block of cheese and smoked to perfection!  God I love my husband!!

 

 

Books, Books, and More Books!!!

  If you haven't figured it out, I LOVE books!  I have my own little library at home.  No really, I've had people call me up and ask me if they could come over and look through my books and pick some out to read on more than one occasion.  I'm the book pusher if you will.  I really love to read.  I unusually go thru a book every few days.  Here are some suggested pushes from my "library".

From the Mouths of Babes

     Today was chaotic but great!  The majority of the cookies made it to the church so I was happy.  Alex apparently was asked by one of the women at church where we got the cookies and he told her I made them from scratch.  Ummm I'm pretty sure it's a sin to lie but lord forgive him for actually doing it in church!  I did NOT make the cookies from scratch, so you see I was pretty embarrassed when she asked me about the recipe and I told her it was a box mix from Aldie's.... They were pretty tasty though :)

Tomorrow's Gonna Blow...

  Today was pretty uneventful for us considering we usually run around like we've lost our heads.  Just a basketball game for Alex and lunch with my sister-in-law, a run to the store and back home.  Although, Reese and I did bake some really yummy cookies for church tomorrow.  Whether they make it there is another story.  That girl REALLY likes her chocolate and I would not be surprised to go into the kitchen later to discover that the cookies have mysteriously disappeared.  Did I mention she has the evidence all over her face?  On an entirely different note, tomorrow is gonna blow.....  Church in the morning then shortly after that, Alex has his music concert at the same time Reese has her winter dance recital.  So we will split up and do the I'll record this if you record that thing.  Then after all of that, back to church to do Christmas caroling.  Now that is a typical day in the life of us!
